41th Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance, Carnelian Bay, California

Its’ that time of year when we all get to a take look at some of the best wooden boats in the country at the 41^th Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance in heart of Carnelian Bay, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, California.

This will be your chance to see one of the largest collections of wooden boats on display at this years’ event. This year the center of the event will focus on the Furth collection, which included ninety (90) classic woodies. Last year the center of the event was focused on the Rivas, which was an amazing gathering of fine boats.

If you’re boat lover, or someone just who appreciates fine workmanship and the art that comes from these beautiful wooden boats, you’ll enjoy the Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance.

Events start this Thursday evening, August 8, 2013 and runs through Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Check out the schedule of events:

Thursday, August 8, 2013 – Welcoming reception for registered guest at the Sierra Boat Company Showroom, Opening Night Dinner at the West Shore Café in Homewood, California $135/person

Friday, August 9, 2013 – The 41^th Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance show opens 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Sierra Boat Company, Carnelian Bay, California One day ticket $25/person, two day ticket $35/person advance prices, add $5 more for each ticket the day of the events.

Wine Village – New this year 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Sierra Boat Company $20/person ages 21+

41^th Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance Awards ceremony and Exhibitors’ barbecue at 6 p.m. Adults $50/person Children (ages 6 – 12) $25/person

Saturday, August 10, 2013 – Show opens 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Sierra Boat Company, Carnelian Bay, California. One day ticket $25/person, two day ticket $35/person advance prices, add $5 more for each ticket the day of the events.

Roar Off At 4:00 p.m. Watch them roar off onto Lake Tahoe!

Monday, August 12, 2013 – Woody Over the Bottom 9 a.m. Sugar Pine Point State Park in Tahoma, California $125 per boat / $35 per person Lunch

Tuesday, August 13, 2013 – Mahogany Magic at 6:30 p.m. $30/person
