Kings Beach is the place to be on Friday evenings with their free music concerts on the sandy beaches in downtown Kings Beach!

Summer is in full swing and despite the road work in downtown Kings Beach 9^th Annual Music on the Beach free music concert series sponsored by the North Tahoe Business Association and local businesses is the perfect way to kick off each summer weekend.

Kings Beach Free Music Concerts – 2015 Every Friday from mid-June through early August you can enjoy a free music concert on the sandy beach in Kings Beach, California.

Listen, dance, or just relax by enjoying a fun evening in Kings Beach. This free summer music concert series will offer a variety of music that all ages will enjoy.

You’ll find the free Kings Beach music concerts at the Kings Beach State Recreation area in downtown Kings Beach, in North Lake Tahoe beginning at 6:30 p.m.!

Where: Kings Beach State Recreation Area, 8318 North Lake Blvd., Kings Beach, CA 96143

When: Come early as beer, wine, and food sales begin at 6 p.m. with the music beginning at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Here are my Concert Goer Tips:

Only Low Back Chairs. If you bring a high-backed chair be prepared to be on the side of the group, and at the back.
Bring blankets, sleeping bags, beach mats, and beach towels if you’re going to sit on the beach, or grass.
Wear sunscreen.
Bring Water. Even with beverages for sale, you’ll still want to stay hydrated!
No dogs are allowed at the Kings Beach State Recreation area, so plan ahead for a doggie sitter at home!
You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket of goodies, but you’re also encouraged to support the local food and beverage vendors at the event. Beer and Wine are also available (must be 21+ years or older).
The fun starts around 6:00 p.m. so come early for a good seat and enjoy some people watching before the concert begins!
This event is FREE and is appropriate for all ages!
All events are subject to weather permitting conditions.
