Made in Tahoe Festival, Squaw Valley, May 23 – 24, 2015
Looking for something fun to do this Memorial Day weekend here in North Lake Tahoe? Check out the Made in Tahoe Festival in Squaw Valley!
Not sure about how our weather will turn out for this weekend? Rain, sunshine, or a little of both? Then the Made In Tahoe event may be the perfect place to be!
You can shop and enjoy the event, and if the weather starts to change, you can duck into one of the Village shops, or restaurants.
If you enjoy finding local Tahoe artisans and supporting local Tahoe businesses this is the event for you!
You’ll enjoy local music, a vendor village, featuring local artists, businesses, and organizations.
There will be more than 60 local vendors at this years’ third annual event. The Made in Tahoe event is a great way to kick-off your holiday weekend if you’ll be up in the Squaw Valley, Truckee, or the greater Tahoe City areas.
If you don’t have plans for this holiday weekend, make the drive up to Lake Tahoe and check out the Made in Tahoe Festival this Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24, 2015.
I think you’ll find the combination of summer sunshine (yes possible rain this weekend), and the majestic Squaw Valley Mountains and music in the background to be a great way to shop, and wander around here at the Village at Squaw Valley.
I went last year, and I enjoyed seeing what others had created. For those that like to get a head start on next year’s holiday shopping this, this is a great place to find something unique for that hard-to-shop for person that everyone seems to have on their list.
For me, I really enjoy admiring the work these talented individuals have produced. You’ll find jewelry, paintings, pottery, glassware, clothing, and so much more!
You’ll also discover some amazing treasures here in Lake Tahoe that you’ll want to buy and take home with you. Part of the fun about traveling is picking up that special treasure that will remind you all year long of the great your Memorial Day weekend you had here in Lake Tahoe.
