Tahoe City Fireworks 4th of July 2018

Looking for a way to celebrate the 4th of July in North Lake Tahoe?

Check out the 73rd Annual Tahoe City Fireworks Show in downtown Tahoe City on Commons Beach this Wednesday, July 4th, 2018!

There will be people watching and activities happening all day long on Commons Beach for those that want to make a full day and evening out on the Tahoe City beaches of Lake Tahoe.

The fireworks show will start at around 9:30 p.m.  There will be food and beverage vendors on site, along with merchandise to celebrate the day.

The fireworks display will take place over Lake Tahoe and you can watch the show from Commons Beach, a local downtown restaurant, or bring your boat and watch the show while being on Lake Tahoe.

Last year we saw the fireworks show from the Tahoe Gal (We took their holiday dinner cruise last year, and we loved it!  They are already sold out for this year, but put this down on your calendar for next year!), so we know first hand how special it is to watch the fireworks while being on Lake Tahoe and looking back towards the beach.

If you are not a fan of larger crowds, and if you can find a spot to see the Tahoe City downtown area you’ll still have a good view of the fireworks show, even if it is from a distance.

There are a lot of ways to enjoy the Tahoe City Fireworks Event even if you don’t go to the beach area, so make a plan to see the show.

You may not know that the Annual Tahoe City Fireworks Event is sponsored by a combination of private and business donation.

When they pass the Fireman’s Boot around, remember with out your financial support and donations, this event can’t happen, so give generously!

Fireworks: Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Dusk (around 9:30 p.m.), Fireworks at Commons Beach will begins at dark, but activities and events will start earlier in the day, and the party will go until the last firework goes off, ending around 10 p.m.

If you go, don’t forget to bring your folding beach chairs, wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water, dress in layers in case a cool breeze comes up, and bring a flashlight for after the event!
