Truckee Wine Walk – Saturday, October 6, 2012 It’s not too late to plan to be in Truckee, California area this Saturday, October 6, 2012 for the 9th Annual Truckee Wine Walk.

The Truckee Wine Walk has become a favorite fall event everyone looks forward to.  This year with our wonderful summer-like weather, the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk, and Shop event promises to another great day in Tahoe.

Event planners expect around 1,000 wine lovers to attend this years’ Truckee Wine Walk.  Those that go will enjoy the historic downtown Truckee area by sipping wine, tasting scrumptious food samples, and enjoying a great day of shopping.

This year Truckee Wine Walk attendees will receive a commemorative wine glass to sample wine at more than 35+ venues, 5 food tickets, a program with a map to all participating venues, and a goodie bag.

The Truckee Wine Walk has partnered with a local charity and will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Family Resource Center of Truckee, a local non-profit group.  What a great way to have fun and support the community

Here are the details:

Truckee Wine Walk

  • When:  Saturday, October 6, 2012, Starting at Noon to 4 p.m.
  • Where:  Downtown Commercial Row in Truckee, California
  • Check in: Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce or at the Truckee Train Station Depot
  • Cost:  $35/ticket in advance $40/ticket day of event.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at Switchback Public Relations & Marketing – Truckee, 530.550.2252, Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce, The Pour House and Avec Wine & Food in Truckee, CA, or at the West Street Wine Bar in Reno, Nevada.  Tickets can also be purchased on-line at www.TruckeeWineWalk.com.  Must be 21+ Years of age for wine sampling.
  • Designated Driver Tickets are $10/ticket.  Reno Shuttle Tickets are $66/ticket.

If you kicked-off the summer in June with the Tahoe City Wine Walk, you’ll want to end the season by being at the Truckee Wine Walk in October.
