It’s is hard to believe that August is more than half over, and our hot summer days are slipping away.

Our local events and Tahoe fun are still going on in the greater North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area!

This weekend is loaded with things to do, which includes the 13th Annual Tahoe City Art by the Lake event.

The  special event will give you the opportunity to see over thirty (30+) artisans showcasing a wide variety of custom, handcrafted items. 

One of the things that makes this a special event is its location.  The fine arts and crafts booths are located next to the the edge of Lake Tahoe providing a great viewing and shopping experience!

Once again the Boatworks Mall in downtown Tahoe City will be the host for this event, and I can’t think of a better way to enjoy an afternoon than by checking out what the professional artists and craftspeople have made.

Before fall arrives in our area, I can’t  think of a better place to enjoy your late summer days than by being here in Tahoe City!

At this year’s art festival you’ll find art, glass work, jewelry, and other hand-crafted items.

In addition to the vendors, Robbie Gade, guitarist will play each day from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Feeling hungry?  Pints and Pies Pizza Company will have light bites on-site for purchase.

As time passes these items the items you purchase will become some of your favorite memories of your time here in greater Lake Tahoe area!

After shopping at the arts and crafts fair, perhaps a late lunch, or cool beverage at one of the local restaurants will round out your day.

The Tahoe City Art by the Lake event is free to the public.

  • Fine Arts and Crafts Fair – Tahoe City | Saturday, August 19, 2023 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  
  • Fine Arts and Crafts Fair – Tahoe City | Sunday, August 2, 2023 |  10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Live music by Robbie Gad Guitarist | 11:30 a.m. – $ p.m. each day
  • Pints and Pies Pizza Co. will be offering Light Bites for on-site purchase.
  • Location:  760 North Lake Blvd., (Lakeside of the Street) Downtown Tahoe City, California
  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day 
  • Admission – FREE Sponsored by the Pacific Fine Arts
