Coat Drive for Community Christmas, Truckee, California
It’s that time of year, when the temperatures in our area have dropped into the high-teens; low 20’s and we’re reminded that not everyone has the right winter wear for the Tahoe area.
A Coat Drive in Truckee, California is under way. New and gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and warm sweaters are being collected for those in need. All sizes are wanted:Men, Women, and Children. This is a great opportunity to take a look inside of your closets and give away those coats and sweaters that you no longer wear, or have out grown.It’s a two-for-one. Get organized and help others out that really need assistance.
All items collected will be distributed to local Tahoe needy families through the Truckee Community Christmas project.
You can drop your donations off at the Dickson office at 11500 Donner Pass Road, in Truckee, California. Donations will be collected through December 16, 2011.For more information please contact Barb Wilkinson at 530-386-1929.
