Voting Tahoe City – Truckee, California Tuesday, November 4, 2014
Today is Tuesday, November 4, 2014, and it is Election Day in the greater Tahoe City and Truckee areas! This is a mid-term election year, which means we’re not casting ballots for the office of the President of the United States, but there are local races, including Congressional representation.
If you are registered to vote, today is the day to cast your ballot. If you’re signed up to vote by mail and you haven’t already mailed your ballot for this election you’ll need to walk your ballot into one of the voting polls.
It does not matter who you support, which party you affiliate with, or how you vote, the important thing is to make sure you do vote, and participate in the process!

VOTING BY MAIL: If you are voting by mail, remember your ballot must be Received no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, regardless of the postmark. That means if you haven’t mailed your ballot you’ll need to take it into a polling location on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in order for it to be counted!

If you live in North Lake Tahoe, Placer County here are the Polling Locations (subject to change, always check your sample ballot for the most up-to-date polling locations:
- North Tahoe Event Center, 8318 North Lake Blvd. (California State Hwy 28), Kings Beach, CA
- North Tahoe High School, 2945 Polaris Road, Tahoe City, CA
- North Tahoe Fire Station 51, 227 Fairway Drive (new fire station), Tahoe City, CA
- Rideout Community Center, 740 Timberland Lane, Tahoe City, CA
- Squaw Valley Public Service District, 305 Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley, CA
If you live in Truckee, Nevada County here are the Polling Locations (subject to change, always check your sample ballot for the most up-to-date polling locations:
- Truckee Veterans Hall, 10214 High Street, Truckee, CA
- Emigrant Trail Museum, 12593 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, CA
- Tahoe Donner Northwoods Clubhouse, 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee, CA
- Glenshire Elemintary School, 10990 Dorchester Drive, Truckee, CA
- Glenshire Swim and Tennis Club, 15726 Glenshire Drive, Truckee, CA
