Holiday Tree Lighting Schedule for the Lake Tahoe – Truckee, California Area
The holidays are here, and to kick-off the season, the Lake Tahoe – Truckee California area will be lighting up holiday trees. Here is a schedule of some of the local events that will be happening in the next few days:
Kings Beach, California –Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5 pm – 7 pm.The Kings Beach Community Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the North Tahoe Event Center.The event will have Santa and Mrs. Claus, music, food, and beverages.Get a photo with Santa, or shop the baked goods and See’s Candy for sale.For more information call 530-546-9000.
Truckee, California – Friday, December 2, 2011 at 5:15 pm Truckee elementary school children will be decorating Christmas trees in downtown Truckee, California beginning at 4 pm from the Carmel Gallery to Burger Me.Santa will arrive at 4:30 pm and the tree lighting ceremony will occur at approximately 5:15 pm.Hot chocolate and cookies will be served, along with carolers.Have some fun from 5pm to 7 pm.For more information call 530-587-8808.
