If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday mood, check out the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and holiday festival this Friday, November 30, 2012 in downtown Truckee, California.
Come out and enjoy some holiday fun in downtown historic Truckee with the lighting of the Bud Fish Tree, a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and caroling.
This 20 year tradition will begin at 4 p.m. when elementary school children will decorate the Christmas trees that will line Donner Pass Road in downtown Truckee. At 4:30 p.m. Santa will arrive at the Bud Fish Tree for the Lighting Ceremony, which should happen at 5:15 p.m. The Holiday Tree is located in front of the Depot in downtown historic Truckee.

When: Friday, November 30, 2012 – Tree decorating 4 p.m. Santa arrives at 4:30 p.m. Tree Lighting at 5:15 p.m. Times are approximate, and if you don’t want to miss out on the fun, arrive early!
