Truckee Thursdays and Farmers Market- 2013

During the summer months, downtown historic Truckee, California comes alive on Truckee Thursdays with arts and crafts booths, side walk sales, a wonderful selection of local food vendors, restaurants, shopping, music and a great Farmers’ Market.

On Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning June 13, 2013 through August 29, 2013 (no event on Thursday, July 4, 2013) downtown Truckee closes off their main street and it becomes one big street festival and Farmers’ Market with live music.

There are merchants, artists, and food vendors with all sorts of interesting, unique, and delicious goods to choose from, along with venders from the Farmers’ Market from the Foothill Farmers’ Market Association.

You’ll find that there are activities for the kids to do, and there are activities for the adults. There is live music, and they have a beer garden, which is very popular with everyone. I’ve gone many times and I’ve always had a good time. Check out some of the fun from last year at Truckee Thursdays here:
