Art, Wine and Music Festival – Squaw Valley, July 11-12, 2015
If you haven’t spent much time in the Lake Tahoe – Truckee area you may not know that our summer season is loaded with festivals, fairs, and fun events.
This weekend is the Annual Art, Wine, and Music Festival at the Village at Squaw Valley this Saturday, July 11, 2015 and Sunday, July 12, 2015.
If you enjoy looking at arts and crafts, sampling wonderful wines, along with just sitting back and enjoy music outdoors in one of the most beautiful mountain settings around, then this is the event for you.
You’ll have two different days to check this great event out, or be there both days at the Village at Squaw Valley! This year the event will start at 11 a.m., with wine tasting beginning at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
New this year is the “Paint Your Own Wine Glass” option. You may get inspired by all of the wonderful art creations, so this is your chance to create your own special wine glass at the event. Stop by “The Painted Vine” and create your own one-of-a-kind glass. The price is $25 a person, children at $20 (mug, or tile), from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, or Sundsay.
The cost is a $25 donation to the Disabled Sports USA Far West group. You’ll get a commemorative wine glass and unlimited wine tasting from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. What a great way to support a wonderful group and make a fun day out of the donation!
Here is a line-up of the music that is scheduled for both days:

Come see the Squaw Valley Village that will be lined with fine artists, crafts, performers and musicians on two different stages on either Saturday, or Sunday.

Either way, you’ll have a wonderful summer day here in Tahoe with stories to tell your friends for years to come as you enjoy being outside in Squaw Valley sipping wine, shopping, and having a fun day with some of Squaw Valley’s finest shops, restaurants, and musicians that have come in for this special event.
