Arts and Crafts Fair – Tahoe City August 2017 We’ve had an amazing summer so far, and our fun is still going on in greater Tahoe City area with two weekends of the Arts and Crafts Fair returning to the Boatworks Mall this weekend August 18-20, 2017 and August 25-27, 2017!

It’s the 9th Annual Tahoe City Fine Arts and Crafts Fair – Tahoe City Aug 2017, and once again, our downtown Tahoe City area by the Boatworks Mall will once again showcase over 45 professional artists!

Our days are still hot, but our evenings and early morning are now cool, which is the perfect combination for a day in the mountains and at the lake. You’ll find our late summer and fall are some of the most beautiful days you’ll ever have here in Lake Tahoe.

Our day-time temperatures today will be in the mid-80’s with clear, sunny, crystal blue skies and we might see the possibility of a late afternoon thunder shower, so always carry extra clothing (light jacket/sweater) with you just in case the weather changes quickly.

As August begins to slip away, I can’t think of a better place to enjoy your summer day than by being here in Tahoe City!

If you’ll be up here in the greater Truckee – North Lake Tahoe area this weekend, don’t forget to check out the Fine Arts and Crafts Fair – Tahoe City Aug 18-20, 2017, or next weekend Aug 25-27, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Art, glass work, jewelry, and other hand-crafted items are items when purchased here in our area become memories that we hold onto as time passes.

I remember that at this time last year, I had the chance to catch up with a past client and she has a beautiful watercolor in her Tahoe City condo that they had purchased the year before. It was a piece she had purchased from the Truckee Fine Arts and Crafts Festival.

As she explained, her daughter was with her when they were at the street fair and she had the chance to met the artist from Grass Valley that had created the work of art. The connection, and how she found the piece are part of what made the artwork special.

Our summer arts and crafts fairs create the opportunity to find unique and special pieces, that capture a moment in time – a place, a season, and for this Tahoe City condo owner, her first piece of artwork into her new property that she would enjoy for years to come.

If you’re in our area over the next two weekends, you’ll find fantastic artists and unique crafts and jewelry at the Fine Arts and Crafts Fair, sponsored by the Pacific Fine Arts Festival.

Even if you’re not in the shopping mood, you will enjoy being outside in beautiful downtown Tahoe City, next to Lake Tahoe taking in the summer fair atmosphere. After shopping at the arts and crafts fair, perhaps a late lunch, or cool beverage at one of the local restaurants will round out your day.

You’ll discover some amazing treasures here in Tahoe City at the Boatworks Mall this weekend. The Fine Arts and Crafts Fair in Tahoe City is free to the public.
