Brews Jazz and Funk Festival – Squaw Valley 2019

It’s almost mid-August and fall is right around the corner!

Now is the time to come up to the Tahoe area for some summer fun!

Here in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area our annual festivals and fun are still going on!

Now is the time for you to enjoy one, or both days of the annual Brews Jazz and Funk Festival – Squaw Valley 2019!

We have a number of wonderful events going on in our area, but you’ll find the 18th annual Brews Jazz and Funk Festival an easy way to spend the day.

What could be better than kicking back, enjoying an ice cold beer, from one of the 35+ craft beers on tap (20 different breweries), and listening to some great live jazz music?

Need another reason to check out this fun summer event?  How about proceeds go to benefit the local Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe!

Yes, this is a dog friendly event (bark-bark), and you and your fur-baby (well-behaved and on a leash of course) can both come to this event and enjoy a fun day in Tahoe together!

This year the event will start at 2 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. both days.  

The cost is an entrance fee of a $10, which is a donation to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. 

Each beer ticket is $5 for a pint of beer (must be 21+ to enjoy the adult beverages). 

This event is presented by the FiftyFifty Brewing Company !

What a great way to support a wonderful local group and make a fun day out of the donation!

August is here and these late days here in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area are some of the best days of summer.

This weekend you’ll have a chance to enjoy our summer sunshine, ice cold beers, and musical performances on either Saturday, Sunday, or both days!
