Summer is a great time to be Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley, California. On Thursday nights in July and August check out the FREE Summer movies in Squaw Valley. The free outdoor movies are presented in the Events Plaza at the Village at Squaw Valley and a new movie is presented each week. All movies begin at 8:30 p.m. weather permitting.

August 16: Happy Feet Two– (100 min)

August 23: Transformers: Dark of the Moon– (154 min)

August 30: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off– (103 min)

Movie goers are encouraged to:

Wear warm clothing – sweaters and jackets are highly recommended.

Bring a blanket. Summer evenings are cool in Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe!

Arrive early to get a good seat. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
