Homewood, CA 96141 Current Real Estate Market Trends November 2013
Here are some current real estate market trends and data for the Homewood, California 96141 area for November 2013. This is my local view of what the Homewood housing market is really doing.
Limited inventory in the Homewood area continues to provide higher pricing support for home sales. The Homewood area is becoming harder to get into with the starting price at just under $500,000, making it one of the more expensive communities on the West Lake Tahoe real estate market to get into with a current home price range of $497,500 to just over $3 million (as of 11/06/2013).
The high-end luxury market has been stronger with good Homewood lakefront sales. So far there have been two completed sales with an average median sales price of $3.275 million and three more pending lakefront sales with an average median listed price of $3,150,000.
The entire West Lake Tahoe area has improved and as we move into our winter season serious Homewood home buyers may find the selection of mountain homes and cabins for sale very limiting, which may turn out to be a great opportunity for Homewood sellers who decide to put their properties on the market this winter and take advantage of lack of inventory.
