Made in Tahoe Festival, Squaw Valley, May 24 – 25, 2014
Looking for something fun to do this Memorial Day weekend here in Tahoe City? Check out the Made in Tahoe Festival in Squaw Valley! If you enjoy finding local Tahoe artisans and supporting local Tahoe businesses this is an event for you!
You’ll enjoy local music, a vendor village featuring local artists, businesses, and organizations. There will be local art, food, music and you’ll get a chance to learn more about the local Tahoe area.
This is the second year for this event so if you haven’t been up to Squaw Valley, Truckee, or the greater Tahoe City area in a while, and you don’t have plans for this holiday weekend, make the drive and check out the Made in Tahoe Festival this weekend.
I think you’ll find the combination of summer sunshine, and the majestic Squaw Valley Mountains and music in the background to be a great way to shop, and wander around here at the Village at Squaw Valley.
I went last year, and I enjoyed seeing what others had created. I love admiring the work these talented individuals have produced. You’ll find jewelry, paintings, pottery, glassware, clothing, and so much more.
You’ll discover some amazing treasures here in Lake Tahoe that you’ll buy and take home with you, which will remind you all year long of the great your Memorial Day weekend you had here in Lake Tahoe.
