I love the walk-up window to place your order. It reminds me of my childhood and the old-fashioned burger stands where you had to get out of your car to place your order and you dined outside, or took your order to go. Those were good times!

They currently have 8 different sweet waffles and 4 different savory waffles to choose from, not to mention they’re great with substitutions. They also have a nice selection of gourmet coffees, drinks, including beer and wine. Sarah, who owns Poppy’s is always coming up with new menu items, so the selection is always fresh and just right for the current season.

When in doubt as to what to order try my personal all-time favorite a Cake Batter yogurt with caramel sauce with mixed nuts. Yummy!!!
