It is a short distance to downtown Tahoe City, restaurants, shops, movie theater, and a 9-Hole Golf Course (summer) and cross country skiing/season ice skating rink (winter also at the golf course).
It is also a short distance to the commercial core of downtown Carnelian Bay with restaurants, marina, and miniature golf course.
The Dollar Hill I condo development is very close to Skylandia Park, and the public beaches at the end of Bristlecone Road (one side of the beach is dog friendly) as Bristlecone Road dead-ends into the development.
The central Tahoe City location makes it easy to get to any of our near-by ski resorts of Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Homewood Ski Resort, and the Northstar Ski Resort area.
