Tahoe City 4th of July Fireworks Happy 4th of July! It’s a holiday week here in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area and we have a number of great events.

Looking for a place to see fireworks? Check out the 74th Annual Tahoe City Fireworks Show in downtown Tahoe City on Commons Beach this Thursday, July 4th, 2019!

There will be people watching and activities happening all day long on Commons Beach for those that want to make a full day and evening out on the Tahoe City beaches of Lake Tahoe.

The fireworks show will start at around 9:30 p.m. There will be food and beverage vendors on site, along with merchandise to celebrate the day.

The fireworks display will take place over Lake Tahoe and you can watch the show from Commons Beach, a local downtown restaurant, or bring your boat and watch the show while being on Lake Tahoe!

If you are not a fan of larger crowds, and if you can find a spot to see the Tahoe City downtown area, you’ll still have a good view of the fireworks show, even if it is from a distance.

You may not know that the Annual Tahoe City Fireworks Event is sponsored by a combination of private and business donation.

When they pass the Fireman’s Boot around, remember with out your financial support and donations, this event can’t happen, so give generously!

Tahoe City 4th of July Fireworks 2019: Begin around dusk (around 9:30 p.m.)

The fireworks show at Commons Beach will begins at dark, but activities and events will start earlier in the day, and the party will go until the last pop, bang and boom goes off, ending around 10 p.m.

If you go, don’t forget to bring your folding beach chairs, dress in layers, just in case a cool breeze comes up, and bring a flashlight for after the event!

Come out and celebrate our national holiday here in Lake Tahoe!
