Tahoe City Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, Sat., Oct 17, 2015
The air is crisp and there is a nip in the air. It’s that time of year when pumpkins, scare crows, and fall is every where you look in Lake Tahoe.
If you’ll be up in the greater Tahoe City area on Saturday, October 17, 2015, be sure to take some time to be at the Tahoe City Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, a pre-Halloween holiday event here in Tahoe City, California.
This year the Tahoe City Annual Harvest Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch event will take place at the Rideout Community Center on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in the Timberland neighborhood from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a great, local family fun, Tahoe City community event that will be fun for all ages.
There will be a lot to do and see. The children will have a great time with the Pumpkin Patch, Carnival games, Pumpkin Seed Hunt, Pie Eating Contest, Hayrides, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Cake Walk, Food, Cotton Candy, and it wouldn’t be a Fall Festival with out a Costume Contest!
Did I mention there will be a Great Pumpkin Seed Hunt that will start at 12 noon? If you’ve heard of the Easter Egg Hunt, will this is Tahoe City’s Fall version with the hunt for the big seed. be sure to get there early, so you don’t miss out on the fun!
If you have missed some of the other fun fall events in North Lake Tahoe this year like the Tahoe City Oktoberfest, or the Squaw Valley Oktoberfest over the past few weeks you still have a chance to enjoy some fall, pre-holiday Halloween fun here in the greater Tahoe City area at this year’s annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch event.

Pumpkin Seed Hunt starts at 12 noon, get there early for this one
Where: Rideout Community Center, 740 Timberland Drive, Tahoe City, CA
Cost: All Inclusive Activity bracelet $15; Individual game/ride tickets may also be available the day of event
Pumpkin Prices will vary.
Food and drinks are all an additional fee and will vary depending on the item. Did I mention Cotton Candy? Yes, pure spun sugar, always a festival favorite!

Sunday, October 18, 2015 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Tahoe Vista Dog Park to Open The grand opening of the Tahoe Vista Dog Park will be this Sunday. The event is free, but $6 Rabies vaccines will be offered, as well as pet safety and wellness information. Donations are welcomed for on-going maintenance. You’ll find the new Tahoe Vista Dog Park at the North Tahoe Regional Park at 6600 Donner Road in Tahoe Vista, California.
Saturday, October 31, 2015 4:30 p.m – 6:30 p.m. Put on your Halloween costume and be in the Downtown Tahoe City area and collect sweet treats from local businesses that will be handing out Trick-o-Treats, which is free for everyone on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
While you’re in town during the month of October, enjoy checking out all of the local scarecrows on parade that were made by local non-profit, local businesses, and grade school children!
