The 66^th Annual Independence Day Celebration is in jeopardy. Without your support this year’s celebration may not happen. The goal is to raise $25,000 and as of 06/14/2012 less than $4,000 had been raised. To donate check out www.TahoeCityFireworks.com, or check out the street dance fundraiser at the Bridgetender on Friday, June 22, 2012. Your support is needed to make this years’ event happen.

This years’ Tahoe City Fireworks event will take place in downtown Tahoe City at Commons Beach. The fireworks will take place over Lake Tahoe so you can watch from the beach, or bring your boat and watch the show on Lake Tahoe. Don’t want to drive your own boat, watch the show from the Tahoe Gal. The Tahoe Gal sells out each year, and tickets are limited so call now for reservations.

Boat Parade: Wednesday, July 4, 2012, 2 p.m. Tahoe Maritime Museum 4^th of July Boat Parade. Be at Commons Beach to watch the parade from Commons Beach back to Homewood, CA. Can’t get to downtown Tahoe City; check out the Boat Parade anywhere along the West Shore of Lake Tahoe between Tahoe City and Obexer’s Marina in Homewood,CA.

Fireworks: Wednesday, July 4, 2012, Dusk, Fireworks Commons Beach begins at dusk.
