When I’m down in Tahoma I always try to stop by the Where We Met – Espresso and Gelato Shop in Tahoma, California. This small, cozy, family owned and operated espresso and gelato shop, is located at 7000 West Lake Blvd., in Tahoma, California, (approximately 8 ½ miles south of the “Y” in Tahoe City on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe) adjacent to the Tahoma U.S. Post Office.

You’ll find their menu with Italian coffees and seven different kinds of gelatos inviting. I’d tell you I had a favorite gelato, but they’re all so good, it’s hard to pick just one. The photographs are of chocolate mint and espresso chocolate – delicious! If you’re having a party, or want to order gelato for your guests, talk to the owner Liz Fontaine and she’ll take good care of you.
