Women’s Wellness Weekend – Granlibakken Resort It’s that time of year to take a break, rejuvenate, and make your plans for a healthier you in 2015!

If you enjoy yoga, nature walks, wine tasting, shopping, and learning more about how to balance your life and a healthier lifestyle, the Women’s Wellness Weekend at the Granlibakken Resort in Tahoe City, CA is the perfect retreat for you.

The annual Lake Tahoe Women’s Wellness Weekend, which will be held this coming weekend, November 8 and 9, 2014 at the Granlibakken Resort in Tahoe City is the event for you.

The weekend long event blends Western practices with Eastern philosophy to offer a balanced weekend of information, inspiration, and activities.

The two-day event begins on Saturday morning, and includes activities such as Yoga, nature walks (weather permitting – FYI Tahoe City is weather is expected to be sunny and day time highs in the mid 60’s this weekend), Pilates, Ki Gong, exercise classes, and a variety of medical, health, and fitness speakers on a variety of wellness and well-being topics.

If you think the two days are only filled with eating kale, doing the down-ward dog position, and taking health and fitness classes, you’re wrong, okay there is some of that, but there will be opportunities to enjoy drinking wine and shopping at the vendor fair on Saturday, and on Sunday you’ll have the interactive health fair to look forward too.

Women’s Wellness Weekend – Granlibakken Resort

When: Saturday, November 8, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Optional Cash Dinner 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. ($25/per person)

Sunday, November 9, 2014, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Granlibakken Resort, 725 Granlibakken Road, Tahoe City, CA

Cost: $120/per person day only, no nightly lodging, for the Two-Day Event which includes one breakfast (Sunday), two lunches, speakers, exercise classes, local artisan vendor fair and wine, interactive health fair, pool/sauna/hot tub access, and so much more.

Additional Options:

$25 Optional Saturday evening dinner

$75 Continuing Education Credits for Professional Health Care Workers

$50 Astrology Chart Readings by Robert Ayres (limited spots, sign up in advance)
