The Lake Forest Glen Condo development is located on the North Shore – Tahoe City, CA area  and is a mountain-side condominium development on the lake-side of Hwy 28.  The Lake Forest Glen development is located at 3101 Lake Forest Road, Tahoe City, CA 96145.

The Lake Forest Glen Condo development is located approximately 2.5 miles east of the “Y” (stop light) in downtown Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

The Lake Forest Glen is a well-run development and has renovated both pools, painted unit exteriors, replaced windows and put on new roofs in the complex in the past ten (10) years without any special owner assessments.

There are two (2) bedroom,  three (3) bedroom, and four (4) bedroom floor plans in the complex.  All of the units are multiple levels, but you’ll find the living room and kitchen area located on the lower, ground level of the unit. 

Most of the units have a forest setting but there are some units that do have some open space, meadow views.

The approximate square footage is as follows

The Lake Forest Glen condo development is also very close to Skylandia Park, and the public beaches at the end of Bristlecone Road (one side of the beach is dog friendly) as Bristlecone Road dead-ends into the development.

The Villas Condo development is located on the Tahoe City – North Shore, CA area  and is a mountain-side condominium development.  The Villas is located at 2755 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA 96145.

The Villas Condo complex was built in the early 1970’s .  It is a mountain sized condominium development with approximately +/- 88 units.

What is your Villas Condo Worth in Tahoe CityIf you’re looking for a condo development that has under gone a significant exterior improvement project and investment by the owners, then you’ll want to take a look at the Villas.  The exterior renovation included new siding, roofs, deck work, and windows just to name a few of the items that were upgraded in the development.

In the greater Tahoe City area all of our small, medium and larger condo developments were all built in the 1960’s, 1970’s, or 1980’s, which makes finding a newer construction looking condo building a hard task.   The Villas with their recent exterior renovation now provides North Lake Tahoe condo buyers with that option!

The Rocky Ridge Condo development is just outside of the downtown Tahoe City – North Shore, CA area.

The Rocky Ridge Condo development is currently the only North Shore condominium development in the area that has a mountain-side setting with their own private lakefront amenities and property.

Rocky Ridge is not a true lakefront condominium development because the units are located on non-lakefront property, but they do have their own private lakefront property so it is development that offers both to their owners.  Rocky Ridge is located at 1877 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA 96145.

The Rocky Ridge Condo complex was built in the 1970’s and 1980’s.  It is one of the larger mountain sized condominium development with approximately +/- 100 units.  What is unique about the Rocky Ridge development is the combination of mountain-side and lakefront parcel, along with some of the most impressive panoramic lake views around in our area!

There are many different types of layouts in the complex and there are two (2) bedrooms,  three (3) bedrooms, and four (4) bedroom floor plans.

All of the units are two stories/levels, but you’ll find the living room and kitchen area located on the both the lower, ground level, and on the upper level, which reflects the diversity on the different floor plan designs in the development.

About half of the units have some type of view of Lake Tahoe ranging from panoramic to just a peek.

The Star Harbor Condo development is just outside of the downtown Tahoe City – North Shore, CA area.

The Star Harbor Condo development is currently the only North Shore lakefront condominium development in the area that has its own boat marina.  It is located at 2350 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, CA 96145.

The Star Harbor Condo development is located approximately 1.5 miles east of the “Y” (stop light) in downtown Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

The Star Harbor Condo complex was built in the 1970’s.  It is a small lakefront condominium development with approximately thirty (+/- 30) units.  What is unique about the Star Harbor development is their private boat marina, with enough spaces for each owner to have a slip (must be under maximum boat size to use slips)

There are two (2) types of units in the complex a three (3) bedrooms and four (4) bedroom floor plans.  All of the units are two stories/levels with the living room and kitchen located on the lower, ground level.  Most of the units have some type of view of Lake Tahoe ranging from panoramic to just a peek.

  • Some Units have an assigned detached carport parking space.

  • 3 Bedroom Units between +/- 1,120 square feet to +/- 1,600 square feet
  • 4 Bedroom Units between +/- 1,920 square feet

The entire complex is a lakefront development with access to a beach area, pier, buoys, seasonal pool, two (2) tennis courts, and a boat marina. It’s a boaters’ delight!

Star Harbor Condo Buyers will find that at any one given time, the selection may be very limited, and you may have to wait if you are looking for a specific unit combination, or location within the development as the selection of condos for sale in Star Harbor is very limited, and exclusive with only +/- 30 condos.

Historically, turn-over in the Star Harbor development has been very low, with 5 out of the last 12 years having no reported public MLS (Multiple Listing Service) Sales.

Star Harbor is near the US Coast Guard Station, and is a short distance to downtown Tahoe City, restaurants, shops, movie theater, and a 9-Hole Golf Course (summer)  and cross country skiing/season ice skating rink (winter also at the golf course).

Star Harbor is also very close to Skylandia Park, the public beaches at the end of Bristlecone Road (one side of the beach is dog friendly), and the neighborhood Sugarpine Cakery (gourmet coffee, cookies, bars, and sandwiches) on Lake Forest Road.

The central location also is close to the near-by ski resorts of Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, and Homewood Ski Resort.
