North Lake Tahoe Events – August 2013

Summer is quickly coming to an end with Labor Day right around the corner here in Lake Tahoe. Our day time temperatures are in still in the high 70’s and low 80’s and in the evenings we’re back down into the low 40’s! It’s the perfect combination beautiful sunny hot summer days and cool summer evenings

If you haven’t planned your summer trip to Lake Tahoe, there is still time to be here. Now is the time to get your calendars out and select several weekends, or pick a week to come up enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe!

While our summer event schedule is coming to and end, there are still a lot of fun, weekly and special annual events still going on. Check out what is coming up through the end of August:

Tahoe City Farmers’ Market – Thursdays –
Truckee Thursdays & Farmers’ Market – Thursdays
Squaw Valley Free Outdoor Movies in the Village – Thursdays
Kings Beach Free Music Concerts on the Beach – Fridays
Northstar Free Music Concerts – Saturday and Sunday
Tahoe City Free Outdoor Concerts at Commons Beach – Sundays

There are also a number of special events that happen each weekend, so be sure to check out the local newspapers and special publications to find out what festivals, fairs, and special events will be taking place while you’re here.
