Brews Jazz and Funk Festival - Squaw Valley 2018 August is slipping by, and you should be asking yourself, “what are you doing for summer fun”?

If an answer doesn’t immediately pop into you mind, then you need to think – North Lake Tahoe and coming to one of our annual events as your new answer for summer fun!

Here in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area our annual festivals and fun are still going on!

Now is the time for you to enjoy one, or both days of the annual Brews Jazz and Funk Festival – Squaw Valley 2018!

Brews Jazz and Funk Festival - Squaw Valley 2018 We have so many wonderful events going on in our area, but you’ll find the 17th annual Brews Jazz and Funk Festival an easy way to spend the day.

What could be better than kicking back, enjoying an ice cold beer, from one of the 35+ craft beers on tap (20 different breweries), and listening to some great live jazz music?

Need another reason to check out this fun summer event? How about proceeds go to benefit the local Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe!

Yep, this is a dog friendly event (bark-bark), and you and your fur-baby (well-behaved and on a leash of course) can both come to this event and enjoy a fun day in Tahoe together!

This year the event will start at 2 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. both days. The cost is an entrance fee of a $10, which is a donation to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

Each beer ticket is $5 for a pint of beer (must be 21+ to enjoy the adult beverages).

This event is presented by the FiftyFifty Brewing Company and for the canine guests, the Truckee Tahoe Pet Lodge is creating a unique chill-out area for those attendees. I’ve read the description, and it looks like a place I’d like to hang out – dog pool, cooling mistersm and a funky photo booth – fun for everyone!

What a great way to support a wonderful local group and make a fun day out of the donation!

August days here in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area are some of the best days of summer and this weekend you’ll have a chance to enjoy our summer sunshine, ice cold beers, and musical performances on either Saturday, Sunday, or both days!
