Truckee Farmers Market 2026
The Tuesday Truckee Certified Farmers Market will open on May 12, 2026!
The return of our local Truckee Farmers’ Markets is always a welcomed event!
I identify the opening of our seasonal “warm weather” events like the Truckee Farmers Market as the official changing of the season and it is time for me to put away the snow shovel, and bring out the deck furniture!
Each Tuesday morning in Truckee, California you will find the local Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weather permitting) from May 12 through October 20, 2026!
In the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area, we will have three (3) different Farmers Markets this year.
While the start and ending times for each Farmers’ Market does vary, for about three months you will have the option to shop at three (3) different Farmers Markets in the greater North Lake Tahoe – Truckee area: Truckee, Tahoe City, and Incline Village, NV (about five (5) miles east of Kings Beach)!
If you enjoy buying directly from the farmers, or from those that have made their own goods, then you’ll want to check out these local events.
Items that you may find depending on the month and time of the growing season are bread, pastries, jams, vinegar, olive oils, Artesian cheeses, meat, fish, honey, nuts, fresh salsa, flowers, herbs, onions, beets, kale, chard, arugula, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, artichokes, asparagus, tomatoes, apples, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, apricots, peaches, depending on the season.
The local assortment of fresh food, not to mention artists, and/or food truck vendors is always changing depending on individual week you visit.
The selection of non-perishables for sale will also vary, but may include clothing, jewelry, soaps, and lotions.
The vendors do vary depending on the location of the Farmers Market so you’ll want to check out each market throughout the entire season!
I like that you are getting fresh produce for cooking through-out the week, but if you’re in the mood for something to eat right now, there are also specialty food vendors, which do vary from week to week.
In the past, there have been crepes, Indian food, salsa, fresh bread, pizza, and cupcakes!
As we transition into our warmer months, now is the time to start re-visiting our local Farmers Markets and take advantage of locally sourced fresh produce and goods.
